Americas capital partners mid-atlantic

Investing in real estate has a number of benefits, ranging from a consistent cash inflow to a wide variety of different commercial opportunities, ranging from restaurants to office space. However, in order to select and manage commercial real estate effectively, many experts recommend that investors work with financial advisers and real estate partners to ensure that they are making the best possible choices. Fortunately, this industry attracts some of the most knowledgeable and experienced professionals, allowing even their newest clients to take advantage of their unique skills and perspective. Take the Boston-based real estate investment firm Redgate, for example: the company recently hired Greg Bialecki, a former Massachusetts Housing and Economic Development Secretary, as its executive vice president.

For six years, Bialecki worked under former Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick as a top state official focused on housing and economic development. This position was built on his prior experience as a private real estate and environmental development attorney, who focused on urban development. Accordingly, as executive vice president for Redgate, he will lead business development efforts and create a new fund to invest in multi-family residential developments.

However, Bialecki isn’t the only high-powered professional who has found a new career in real estate investment. Brian L. Katz of American Real Estate Partners, for example, has built his legacy on his knowledge of commercial real estate, including capital markets, acquisition, leasing, asset management and development. This vocation began in college, when he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Maryland, as well as a Masters of Real Estate degree from Johns Hopkins University. After graduating, he helped his employers market and lease over 2 million square feet of office space and 1,5000 acres of land, as well as acquire, finance and maintain an estimated $1.8 billion in assets. Today, Brian Katz has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry, and his firm, American Real Estate Partners, owns an estimated 4.2 million square feet of high quality property in some of the top markets in the Northeast. If you’re interested in investing in real estate, there is no question but that you should use this degree of experience and knowledge to your advantage.
